General Team Rules

The catch-all rule: a team is a people, and it's difficult to foresee everything. If you're unsure or don't have a rule for a specific situation, use common sense and treat others as you would like to be treated. Or ask team principals.

Community Rules

  • All members must must comply with the Guidelines and Terms of Service of third-party applications used by the team - Discord, Garage 61, iRacePlan, and others at all times.
  • Zero tolerance for hate speech. Discrimination or harassment based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or identity is strictly prohibited.
  • To maintain a focused environment, discussions about politics, religion, or other highly controversial topics are not permitted in public channels.
  • Keep communication respectful. A few heated words during racing can happen, but excessive foul language, insults, or aggressive behaviour are not acceptable.
  • Posting sexually explicit material (NSFW), gore, pirated software, cheats, or any illegal content is strictly forbidden and will result in an immediate ban.
  • Treat all teammates, competitors, and staff with respect. Personal attacks, harassment, flaming, or doxxing are not tolerated.
  • Spam, excessive self-promotion, or unrelated advertisements are not allowed.
  • Follow instructions from administrators, principals, and team leaders.

Team Membership

  • Your nickname must match the name used in iRacing so drivers can be easily identified.
  • To maintain a healthy work environment, internal documents and discussions are accessible only to active drivers. A driver is considered active if:
    • Joined an iRacing teams. The list of active teams and their IDs is here.
    • Completed first race for the team within 4 weeks after joining.
    • Completed at least one race for the team in the last 12 weeks or
    • Been active on Discord or Raven in the last 12 weeks. We love memes, by the way ;)
  • We don't require mandatory participation; the team recognizes that sometimes breaks are necessary and real life always takes precedence over sim racing. If you've been inactivated and would like to return, please just contact team principals in Discord or Raven and welcome back!
  • Team membership, third-party software, hosted sessions, prizes, internal and third-party team leagues and competitions are free of charge for drivers — that's our principle. If anyone tells you otherwise, please contact team principals!

Registration for Events

  • We use Team Principal to organise race crews for events and iRacePlan to make a stint schedule.
  • Drivers are assigned to crews on Thursday evenings for regular series and approximately one week before special events. Please register early.
  • If you cannot participate in a race you signed up for, inform the principals as soon as possible so a replacement can be arranged.
  • Participation in community teams does not require regular practice, a full-season commitment, or specific lap times. The only expectation is that you attend the race if you signed up.
  • Participation in "performance" teams may involve additional expectations such as practice sessions, preparation, and performance targets. These requirements are defined by team leaders and members. Contact a team leader or principal if you are interested in a more competitive approach.
  • Training sessions, practice races, coaching sessions and hosted events are open and free for all drivers.

In Race

  • Follow the iRacing Sporting Code at all times, both on track and in voice or text chat. Remember that you represent the team.
  • Drive respectfully and prioritise finishing the race over taking unnecessary risks.
  • Decisions such as parking the car are made by the team during the race or according to criteria agreed before the event.
  • Rage quitting is not allowed. If an issue occurs, communicate with the team and follow the agreed procedures.
  • If you cause an incident, acknowledge it and continue racing respectfully.
  • Retaliation on the track is unacceptable!
