Description
The Ford Mustang FR500S embodies a rich racing heritage dating back to the days when Parnelli Jones, George Follmer and others drove Bud Moore-prepared Mustangs in hand-to-hand combat battle with Mark Donohue, Dan Gurney, Swede Savage, Sam Posey and other American icons in the original Trans-Am Series. Not for nothing was an entire class of sedans-come sports cars known as "pony cars".

The Mustang is equipped with a six speed Ford Racing Tremec T6060 transmission, clutch and short-throw shifter, as well as Ford Racing/Borla stainless steel headers. The FR500S features rack and pinion steering, Ford Racing/Brembo ABS brakes, two-way adjustable front dampers with coil springs, adjustable anti-roll bar and adjustable ride height.
